Position Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering high-value construction projects in Pittsburgh and the surrounding region. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from initial planning and budgeting to project completion. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff, to achieve project objectives and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project financials, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project profitability.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds quality standards, codes, and specifications, and address any issues promptly.
Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager on multifamily and commercial projects exceeding $20 million.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
PMP or similar certification is a plus.
