Assistant Marketing Manager - Public Relations & Events

Summary

Global Marketing Assistant Manager will be involved in all aspects of public relations and consumer events for both the nail & lash categories, including development and implementation of PR, events & influencer programs on a global level (US, Canada, UK, Germany).

Responsibilities:

• Oversees public relations and consumer event budget and inputs invoices
• Collaborates with Brand Marketing teams for nail and lash categories to ensure programs are aligned with overall strategies and goals; organizes weekly statuses with brand members
• Coordinates & interacts regularly with external public relations agencies for execution of all programs globally
• Creates and executes innovative and engaging public relations & influencer campaigns
• Plans upcoming consumer shows for nail and lash categories and executes production for each with internal and external partners
• Organizes public relations activations and consumer events to promote the company’s image and serves as a Brand Ambassador
• Provides category and brand recommendations for marketing support activities related to public relations, consumer events and influencers
• Establishes influencer marketing strategy; briefs and develops contracts with agencies, manages influencer selection and approval and reports on campaign results
• Reviews media content and press releases
• Establishes KPIs and goals, and prepares reporting on media and activation results
• Manages and coordinates creative mailers with external agencies
• Reports to Director of Global Marketing

(KSA) Knowledge/experience, Skills, Ability & Attitude Required

• Marketing or Communications major required
• Candidate must be detail-oriented, collaborative, have a positive attitude, strong computer skills, a self- starter, be well organized and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Results oriented
• 3-6+ years Public Relations & Event experience with track record of success
• Strong passion and knowledge in beauty, pop culture, social media, and influencers
• Travel required; approximately 4-6 times a year
• Outstanding computer skills (powerpoint, excel, etc)
• Excellent writing, oral presentation, and communication skills
• Skills – strong strategic and executional skills
