Public Relations Manager Jobs

Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Global Public Relations, the PR Manager is responsible for helping to increase brand awareness, protect and improve corporate reputation, and support business growth by assisting in the development and executing effective integrated communication strategies and media relations programs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage U.S. and Canadian PR agencies ensuring the highest level of service and continued innovation, generating PR campaigns and assets in support of marketing calendar, integrated with other marketing channels (digital, social, search, etc.), and communicate vision to PR agency
• Manage office inventory and handle press inquiries for North America.
• Support PR director on global initiatives, launches, sponsorships and special projects.
• Work alongside the digital team to manage overarching paid influencer partnerships within North America, identifying opportunities and implementing recommendations.
• Develop and maintain all communication guidelines and prep documents for spokespeople globally.
• Be able to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, agile, problem-solving mindset.
• Work cross-functionally and support cross-channel PR initiatives coordinating with Digital, Social, Sales, Education, Marketing and Operations.
• Drive content and messaging strategy to effectively and consistently correspond with all global product launches and campaigns.
• Manage Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives including but not limited to philanthropic partners and sustainability partnerships.
• Manage and maintain PR asset schedules and ensure all press material deadlines are met.
• Oversee PR intern and manage intern’s workload priorities.
• Explore, analyze and drive all PR sponsorship and advertising opportunities in North America, across print and digital. Optimize press initiatives, monitor performance and implement recommendations.
• Identify and manage partnerships that move the brand forward and grow brand affinity and awareness.
• Own budget management and calendar of activations/events.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work weekends and travel as required
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations
• Event planning and execution experience is a plus
• Knowledge of and relationships with celebrities, influencers, hair stylists, entertainment talent and their agents a plus
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant PR Experience, must have agency and influencer management experience
