Assistant Marketing Manager Jobs

Are you a quick-learning, creative, experienced Assistant Marketing Manager interested in joining a growing organization that serves the healthcare, finance, and marketing industries?

A, you'll work closely with the head of our marketing department in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and achieving business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in managing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, and implementing promotional activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You'll Do

Most of the duties assigned to the Assistant Marketing Manager can be divided into categories.

Content Management

• Review and prepare written content for publication, including but not limited to blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, eBook chapters, etc.
• Assist with optimizing websites that operate on the WordPress platform, including updating metadata and other content maintenance.

Marketing Strategy

• Assist with conducting research, including but not limited to keyword/SEO research, competitive research, industry analysis, and identifying lead-gen opportunities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of omnichannel marketing campaigns.

Reports & Presentations

• Compile data, charts, and other elements in comprehensive internal reports.
• Assist with assembling proposals and other presentations.

Miscellaneous

• Other relevant marketing-related responsibilities may be added as the position scales over time.

Qualifications

• A completed, or nearly-completed, bachelor's degree in a relevant field, including marketing/advertising, communications, IT, and psychology.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in an agency environment.

Details

• This position does not include benefits at this time.
• This is a salaried position that will begin with approximately 10-15 hours per week. Actual compensation is DOE.
• This is a remote opportunity although you would be welcome to work from our physical offices if you happen to live in the Chicago area.
• This is a contract/freelance position, meaning it would be your responsibility to fulfill your federal and state tax obligations.
