The Impact You’ll Make
As Product Marketing Manager, Nextdoor Ads, you’ll be a critical part of growing our advertising offering and helping businesses grow on Nextdoor. You will lead our positioning and go-to-market for key advertising features on Nextdoor and partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Comms and other Marketing teams. You should be thoughtful, resourceful, strategic, and also willing to roll up your sleeves.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with digital advertising platforms, and know how to drive advertiser acquisition, retention and education. You must have an understanding of the advertiser experience when buying digital media, what uniquely differentiates Nextdoor as a product and service, and how Nextdoor advertising products offer unique value in the context of the broader digital advertising market.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Develop customer and sales communication to drive awareness, education, and product adoption
  • Act as the product expert internally and externally for advertising partners
  • Influence the roadmap through compilation of voice-of-customer insights, market and industry insights, and competitive analysis
  • Partner and collaborate with sales leadership and product management to develop impactful product narratives and relevant sales collateral to empower sales to drive product adoption
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on key initiatives
  • Lead go-to-market efforts, including developing messaging and positioning to communicate Nextdoor’s value and differentiation
What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Passion for building community as a collaborative, strategic, and operational leader, who is comfortable with open communication
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver succinct, impactful messaging
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience with 5 years experience in a product marketing / Sales Marketing capacity
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $105,000- $175,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
