Job Description

You will lead the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at the Four Seasons San Francisco at Embarcadero.

  • Maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all departments and Home Office.
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Must be able to assist hotel guests with technical requirements and issues.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to relate to all levels of staff.
  • Must be able to provide high levels of service and support to admin users as per contracted Service Level Agreement.

Product Functions

  • Provide system support services, including service outage diagnosis, troubleshooting and restoration of service, virus protection management.
  • Assist with network support and security of Hotel systems (Bit9/Trendmicro/Websense) and network (Lantronix/Palo Alto/Trustwave), Active Directory, Server Infrastructure, and Network Infrastructure maintenance – wired & wireless, Network protection and failover tools implementation.
  • Provide direct guest support and quality support to function rooms and conference services.
  • Maintain and promote Four Seasons core technology standards as outlined in the Four Seasons IT Core Standards.
  • Participate in property-level, corporate-initiated technology implementations.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance/Assistant Director of Finance or Senior Director of IT.
  • Provide Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation.
  • Assist in management of third-party vendors.
  • Good knowledge and support for Windows/Mac/Android/iOS operating systems.
  • Provide administration services, including contribution to the creation of technology capital and operating budgets.
  • Establish and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systems.
  • Assist in the process of systems backup and recovery procedures.
  • Assist in the co-ordination of new acquisitions and major projects as required.
  • Assist in Server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, Operating System upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure critical systems, specifically Property Management System (Opera), JAZZ Call Accounting, HSIA, Network (Cisco), PABX and Point of Sales (Micros) systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day.
  • Administer Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, global VPN and other communication tools.

Profit Functions

  • Implement technology “best practices”.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best pricing and savings
  • Recommend new applications as requested by hotels to streamline business processes.
  • Provide HSIA Guest and Customer support when no contract with third parties exists.

  • Quick grasp of Four Seasons IT core standards, key controls, policies and procedures.
  • Clear understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls.
  • Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a team player with high energy levels to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Pro-active and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and strategic thinking skills

Visa Requirements:

Visa sponsorship is not available. You must already be legally permitted to work in the United States. Without valid work authorization for the United States you will not be considered. US work authorization is required unless candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location. Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for L-1 visa sponsorship.
