Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Global Engagement, the Assistant Director of Global Services will work as an extension of the Office of Global Engagement to provide continuous student services to students on the professional campus in Atlanta. The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with enrollment management, academic units, residence life, and student affairs to assist in the success and retention of international students throughout their academic programs. The position is also responsible for coordinating initial orientation activities for international students as well as ongoing programming to assist in their acculturation, retention, and academic success as well as serving as a counselor and advocate for international students on campus.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and one year of prior experience working with international students or in an international education setting are required. Candidates with a master's degree are highly desirable. Candidates must have proficiency with Microsoft Office, and have the ability to learn Slate CRM. Must obtain TAICEP certification (training provided) within the first year on the job.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.
