The Boeing Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) organization has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Culture, Engagement and Integration Program Manager, located in San Antonio, Texas.


In this role, you will be responsible for creating and driving an integrated Culture and Engagement strategy that engages and inspires current and prospective employees in alignment with the Company’s values, vision and business strategies and key objectives, including employee satisfaction and retention, productivity, Quality, Safety, and FOD control among others. The role partners closely with the Boeing San Antonio Executive Leadership Team to shape, drive and deliver measurable improvements in culture, engagement and integration.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Ongoing tracking and monitoring of performance indices that measure the evolution of the site’s culture and develop and implement action plans that ensure culture and engagement objectives and results are met.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects that further enhance the employee engagement experience.
  • Build strong cross-functional networks in a highly matrixed organization and leveraging sound business judgement, hands on approach and agility to drive change management, communications and leadership of Culture, Engagement, and Integration initiatives in a fast paced and at times ambiguous environment.
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement and leadership by creating opportunities for recurring employee feedback, recognition, and development.
  • Provide counsel, guidance and tools to managers and senior leadership as to best practices for communicating with employees to elevate productivity, performance and pride.
  • In partnership with Corporate Communications, help lead the development of internal communications that bring strategic alignment and efficiency to employee engagement efforts, including the development of tools, communication channels and content that propagate our values and priorities throughout the site.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs for continuous engagement through effective action planning processes with HR Business Partners and Labor Relations, to improve the quality of the employee experience, retention and performance consistent with our values and priorities.
  • Bring to life a consistent Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and vision for the San Antonio employee experience, in partnership with HR and site leadership.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Labor Relations to track and analyze new hire/exit surveys, employee communications, engagement activities, concerns and work with internal stakeholders and leaders to deploy actionable solutions.
  • In partnership with Labor Relations, deploy the internal engagement and feedback mechanisms to source the sentiments of our employees to help the organization continually improve.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of employee surveys, along with action planning and goal setting with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that leadership has access to insights that drive positive change.
  • Actively participate in the onboarding process, with HR, and serving as the employee engagement lens to foster innovation to onboarding for consistency and an enriched employee experience
  • Drive the development and implementation of employee recognition initiatives that are valued across the organization at all levels and ongoing ownership.
  • Strategize and tactically utilize critical thinking, consultative, analytical and communication skills to establish credibility with employees across the site.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing people, programs and budgets
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience executing strategies and/or managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The ability to turn complex and sometimes technical information into engaging content.
  • Strong background and experience in Project Management is a plus.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results, and follow through on commitments. A sense of urgency is required.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Previous experience in planning and delivering campaigns and projects with associated communications plans.
  • Proven leadership, independence of thought / action, and the ability to analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives will be critical to the success of the selected candidate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to build sustainable relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • The capacity and desire to partner closely with Executive Leadership is critical.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and continuous improvement.

Summary pay range: 133,450 - 180,550
