Job Description
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Require 3-5 years experience in an enterprise environment relevant to the systems and or service lines supported. Two years of experience in a medical environment preferred.
  • Education
  • The Applications Analysts role is to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support organizational functions. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all software and associated operating systems. The Applications Analysts will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Applications Analysts are expected to work under the guidance of an IS Manager and with limited supervision and broad general direction.
  • Normal hospital and clinic environment. Occasional exposure to changes in temperature in computer room. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range for telephone. Use of calculator, bar code scanner, computer, printer, copy machine and fax machine. Some bending and reaching for filing and reports. Continuous sitting. Some physical installation of equipment. Occasional lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 30 pounds. Some walking about large hospital campus (including stairways).
