We are seeking an Application Support Developer II in our St. Louis MO office. As an Application Support Developer II, you will help us support and enhance critical applications and data feeds across our business. You will be responsible for both the support of existing applications as well as being involved in our ongoing development effort. This role supports a variety of different systems and websites across CCA’s multiple divisions and internal departments using various Microsoft development technologies. Our ideal candidate has a service-oriented mentality, a strong sense of ownership, a focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with competing priorities, and effective communication with team members and customers.

Our Application Support Developer II will:

• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Collaborate with application users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to applications, websites, data, database queries, data feeds, and ETL jobs.
• Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultations with users and approval of supervisor.
• Perform break-fix analysis and troubleshoot system issues reported by end-users, collaborate with internal and external team-members to resolve issues, troubleshoot system outages and critical issues as they occur, occasionally including nights and weekends.
• Ensure that development and test environments are configured to support application development life cycle and that all development work items are properly documented.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?

• Detail oriented and customer service minded with experience working with outside vendors to deliver custom we and distributed solutions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• 1-3 years’ experience using Visual Studio IDE, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Web Services, REST API, IIS, XML, SOAP, JSON
• 1-3 years’ design and development experience with MS SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
• 1-3 years’ experience developing web or distributed applications using Microsoft technologies such as .NET Framework/ .NET Core.
• Must be a self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Programming and/or relevant field, or demonstrated work experience equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

• Microsoft DevOps
• SSRS report creation
• Microsoft Azure services (ADF, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Db)
• Microsoft Certification is a plus, but not required.
