Position: Application Support Analyst (C2C, W2)
Client- Huntington Bank
Location: Columbus, Ohio(Onsite)
Passport number is mandatory(Except GC, USC)
We need to ensure they have enough experience in AWS services (EC2, S3 VPC, Auto scaling, IAM, Lambda) in application support along with Java and updated JD below. We should not look for infra support experience or production support resumes here
Key aspects to look for from the screened profiles
1.Candidate should have worked on more than 1 project on cloud technologies and should have 4+ yrs of exp in cloud
2.Should not have large gaps suddenly followed by cloud projects. This means they underwent cloud training during this/ potential fraud. Multiple cases like this from other vendors
3.Candidates should have managed Cloud hosted applications, not deployed to cloud (Not SRE roles) or full scale.
4.They should be like Monitors/ identify downtime during day to day activities, validate performance issues, Triage calls with Development teams when an issue is seen
5.Know what types of issues based on logs, bring in the correct team to the issue fixing
6.Ready to convert to C2H
7.No long employment gaps
JD:
Experience in Production Application Support along with UNIX knowledge. Java understanding for troubleshooting and debugging, but not coding, AWS.
Experience in different cloud environments Azure GCP and AWS. Basic Knowledge on W eb server, Windows, and AIX server.
Decent experience or knowledge in WAS. Handle the bridge calls.
Person should be really willing to take up challenging tasks and interact with the customers.
Log analysis Java and Dot net Java/Heap size or Hung threads or Memory dumps and trouble shooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Should be an excellent team player.
Works closely with On shore Service Management teams to ensure timelines are being met.
Highly motivated, self-directed, team-oriented Customer focused.
Exposure on Splunk, Dynatrace , ServiceNow and Jenkins tools.
Willing to work in shifts - 24X7.
Exposure and C competency in Change and Incident/Problem Management Processes as per ITIL framework
