Avantia is looking for talented Software Developers to join our growing team!Applicants must have experience developing custom software applications from scratch and have experience integrating systems using a variety of technologies. If you are a strong Developer, read on!

What you will be doing:

Involved in every aspect of the software development lifecycle (must be experienced in new systems programming, design etc.) Working in a small team to ensure deadlines are being met Interacting with senior management to add input and contribute new and innovative ideas to help the company continue to grow.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Java/J2EE programming experience

Strong background in JSPs, Spring, Web Services, and Java EE middleware is ideal

Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC, Struts)

Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit

Strong knowledge of Relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX is preferred
