Apparel Buyer/Planner Jobs

Reporting to the Director Global Supply Chain, the individual will oversee and manage the end to end process pertaining to Uniforms including Design, Procurement, Quality Control and Inventory Management in line with Company policies and procedures, delivering and maintaining the corporate image at the highest standard, whilst developing a stable and positive relationship with suppliers and staff.

• Sets policies and standards for uniform offerings and services and ensures playmakers are dressed professionally
• Maintain accurate and up to date uniform inventory records of uniforms and ensure adequate supply of uniforms in all sizes; by partnering with the distribution center for accurate reporting
• Working in conjunction with design, research and provide recommendations to management for uniform styles taking into consideration material type, durability, usability and suitability for the relevant job role
• Liaise with Venue Operations to plan procurement of uniform items, identify new suppliers, execute supplier audits, issuance of SAP Purchase Orders and Contracts. Liaise with all departments to plan and forecast Uniform requirements, develop uniforms
• Ensures suppliers are following all packaging and labeling guidelines, sets up correct SAP master data and pricing records
• Manage the supply chain into the Company, including but not limited to developing existing suppliers, to ensure we receive a quality, responsive, cost effective and efficient supply of goods and services

• Advanced Excel skills to create and analyze reporting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Operations, Business Administration preferred
• Forecasting, budgeting and planning experience required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• 3+ years knowledge of procurement laws and regulations and how these affect the business in various locations throughout the group - provide advice on such matters to local representatives as required
• 5+ years experience overseeing uniforms buying and planning, preferably within the Hospitality industry
• 3+ years Experience with SAP for purchase order and sales order entry and maintenance
• Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
