As one of the world’s most admired brands, Toyota is growing and leading the future of mobility through innovative, high-quality solutions designed to enhance lives and delight those we serve. We’re looking for diverse, talented team members who want to Dream. Do. Grow. with us.

An important part of the Toyota family is Toyota Financial Services (TFS), the finance and insurance brand for Toyota and Lexus in North America. While TFS is a separate business entity, it is an essential part of this world-changing company - delivering on Toyota's vision to move people beyond what's possible. At TFS, you will help create best-in-class customer experiences in an innovative, collaborative environment.

This role will be embedded within a specific business unit with the primary responsibility of delivering real-time insights and rapid turnaround analysis for the assigned business unit. Candidates should be as comfortable quickly packaging and presenting their ideas to leadership as they are analyzing complex data sets, creating insightful visualizations and writing SQL/R/Python code.

Leaders across the Analytics Job Family are committed to creating an engaging space for talented individuals to grow their careers and do their best work. Successful candidates will need to possess high levels of innate curiosity, persistence, resourcefulness, initiative, aptitude for learning complex topics quickly and a desire to make a tangible impact and grow within the Analytics Job Family.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build your analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through training, mentorships, and on-the-job experience for advancement into analytical leadership roles
  • As this posting covers an array of different positions, frequency/depth of above activities may vary.
  • Use SQL, R and/or Python to clean and structure data prior to analysis
  • Become a subject matter expert for the business unit by developing a comprehensive understanding of how the department’s strategies, data, and systems work together for the benefit of our stakeholders and customers
  • Propose actions to department, executive and international audiences through effective storytelling / presentations (PowerPoint), data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI), and clear written / verbal communication
  • Develop actionable insights through data analysis, synthesis of disparate data sources, creative problem solving and collaboration with key stakeholders across the Analytics Job Family and the broader Toyota organization incl. Sales, Finance, Marketing, Servicing, Manufacturing, Data Science, etc.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience with both coding and analysis tools (SQL, R, Tableau, Python and/or similar) and a high level of proficiency with both Excel and PowerPoint (testing of coding and analytic abilities will be conducted as part of the application process)
  • Possess both the curiosity and resourcefulness needed to master complex concepts, methods, and systems in order to improve existing processes and develop creative solutions to new business challenges
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical / STEM field
  • Project management and presentation skills including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of statistics and modelling techniques with experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative/qualitative analysis
  • Ability to be self-directed and work independently while in a hybrid work environment. While these roles are predominantly work from home, team members are required to join us in-person at our Plano, TX headquarters on a regular basis.

Added bonus if you have
