Senior Analyst - It Cyber Risk

As a Senior Analyst on the IT/Cyber Risk team, the qualified candidate is responsible for performing testing to ensure key IT/IS controls are designed appropriately and working effectively to mitigate risks, calculate IT related metrics and investigate breaches, as well as participate in cyber maturity assessments and other ad-hoc projects. The successful candidate will have experience in IT Audit, Risk Management, Project Management, Information Security, or Risk Consulting. The position will require the ability to effectively consult on IT/Information Security risks and issues and manage multiple priorities efficiently while demonstrating excellent time management skills.

This role works from an Ally office in either Detroit MI or Charlotte NC, Ally offers a Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 from home

• Review metric breach management action plans to assess effectiveness of proposed remediation and appropriateness of the timeline
• Assist in performance of annual FedLine and SWIFT compliance assessments which includes assessing the design and operating effectiveness of the related controls and documenting identified gaps
• Participate as a team member on various special projects and initiatives as needed
• Monitor risk metric performance including breach root cause identification and reporting

• Background in IT Risk Management, IT Audit, Project Management, or IT/IS related field with working knowledge of risk management components (e.g., policy/procedures, governance, reporting, self-assessments) in a regulated environment
• 3+ years of experience required
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
• Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities and follow through on all open items/tasks
• Knowledge and experience in performing assessments aligned with Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) guidance, FedLine, and SWIFT requirements and information security-related standards such as NIST, preferred
• Industry designation preferred (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC)
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels including high level audiences
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team
• Strong detail orientation with ability to research, compile, and report on data
