General Purpose
The IT Analyst (Contracts) will leverage their functional knowledge and analytical skills to drive the review processes for all IT contracts (e.g., master service agreements, statements of work, amendments & addendums, non-disclosure agreements, work orders, order forms, and termination notices). This position will partner closely with IT Leadership, portfolio owners, project teams and corporate Legal to drive end to end processes to bring ~700+ business critical documents annually to completion. This role has high visibility into the cross functional executive decisions required to run the business of IT and is responsible for reviewing legal Terms & Conditions to help identify areas of opportunity and operational/financial risk.
The base salary range for this role is $64,500 - $91,850. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
Essential Functions

• Establish and implement best practices including driving semi-annual brown bag training sessions across the IT Department
• Documenting processes and maintaining files
• Active as liaison between internal IT Leadership, Legal and external vendors to review and analyze contract redlines, recommend updates, influence cross functional partners, and track approvals to ensure tight deadlines are met
• Analyzing contract clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities
• Initiate process improvement on the IT contract lifecycle, identify opportunities, and influence business leadership on potential changes
• Manage overall approval processes to ensure appropriate documentation is provided accurately and efficiently.
• Recommending and draft contract provisions and amendments
• Manage the internal IT contract lifecycle process, from intake to contract completion. This includes (but not limited to):
• Ensure alignment with overall contract financial terms (i.e. Confirm existence of appropriate budget/funding source and identify financial risks and opportunities) and as necessary, initiate and drive corrective actions for gaps and variances
• Ensuring that contract terms comply with legal requirements and policies
• Reviewing and recommending contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement with other parties
• Drive overall communication strategies with business stakeholders and contract requestors, ensuring all parties are engaged through contract finalization
• Partner closely with IT leadership to ensure all legal and financial requirements are completed.
• Reviewing supplier contract terms and conditions
• Maintain records management (uploading to DocuSign, ownership of master contract log, updates and distribution of templates)
• Reviewing contracts to prevent potential disputes and financial risks

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

• Knowledge of contract administration best practices and implications / objectives / ramifications of contractual provisions
• Ability to understand legal terminologies and interpret it for contract review and analysis and successfully verbalize any potential issues based on legal requirements for correction or escalation
• Undergraduate degree required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least 1-3 years' experience reviewing, drafting, and handling contracts
• Excellent organization skills, with a passion for details
• At least 3-5 years' experience in the IT field or similar experience
• Strong knowledge of Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements/Ada

• This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
• This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position.
