What You Will Be Doing

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (C&IB) is seeking a Business Management Analyst to support the Banking & Corporate Finance (B&CF) group. The Business Management team acts as a trusted partner and advisor to the business and senior management by developing business strategies, driving execution and implementation of business initiatives and priorities.

The team is responsible for coordination and delivery of all required finance, strategy, and business support. The team acts in partnership with U.S. and global areas to execute a cohesive strategy across Finance, HR, Compliance, Marketing, and product teams in C&IB.

Responsibility

• Assist to ensure compliance requests are completed in a timely manner
• Manage monthly reporting and provide analysis of financials and pipeline for the group
• Work directly with industry teams on development of sector reviews, pipeline management, and revenue reconciliation
• Analyze industry data and trends to provide insights to management and industry groups
• Assist in developing annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual strategic plans
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior management for business reviews, offsites, and meetings

Skills

• Excellent oral and written skills
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent field.

Work Experience

• Prior experience at a large financial institution or consulting firm
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in Business Management
• 3-5 years of work experience

For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $80,325 - $117,875. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
