Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work environment as an Air Service Analyst in the Marketing, Arts & Air Service Development department. We are searching for an individual with a passion for aviation with strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. The selected individual will liaison with airlines, local businesses, community, and economic development organizations whose support are instrumental in achieving overall air service objectives for the Authority and;

• Contribute to airport passenger forecast for airport planning, budgeting and use in air service business cases.
• Identify air carriers for service to San Diego, identify route opportunities for specific incumbent and candidate airlines.
• Create compelling datasets and presentations to build business cases for airlines to add new routes to San Diego.
• Identify, create, and develop marketing strategies for SAN’s new airlines and markets to increase consumer awareness.
• Assist with air service development efforts for SAN with airlines, tour operators and charter companies.

Requirements
Education & Experience:

• Equivalent combination of training and experience.
• One year of experience in air service development, airline employment, aviation consulting, or transportation / logistics planning.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Economics, Math or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AAAE, or ACI certification
• Graduate degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Economics, Math or a closely related field.

The hiring salary for this position starts at $94,639 annually.
Pay Range for the Air Service Analyst is $80,888 to $129,421.
