Job Description

Under the direction of the Front Office Manager, Concierge Agents are responsible for greeting and acknowledging every guest while creating a relationship and establishing oneself as an ally. Have working knowledge of the surrounding area and local businesses. Listening to guest requests and making reservations to fulfil those requests. Concierge Agents encompass Mondrian values in addition to following financial and operational procedures.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Ensure that our Stage is always set and that our Players utilize their script and improvising.
  • Owning all guest requests pertaining but not limited to dining reservations, car transportation, spa appointments, concert tickets, nightclubs, etc.
  • Is familiar with all outlet operating hours and facilities that the hotel provides.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with guests and co-workers.
  • Providing services above and beyond expectation.
  • Is familiar with and adhere to all policies and procedures as pertaining to position, and policies specified in the Mondrian Hotel employee handbook
  • Eyes and ears of the lobby areas. Provides information to guest inquiries.
  • Adheres to all safety and emergency procedures and precautions
  • Ensuring that each and every guest has a fantastic stay.
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with surrounding businesses and restaurants.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as concierge; experience in customer service or relevant role is an advantage
  • Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation
  • Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize as necessary to meet the guest's needs
  • Ability in multitasking and time-management
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Understanding guest needs and providing them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities & facilities throughout the city
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
