4+ years’ advanced experience using SFDC, Open Air, and NetSuite ERP financial tools

4+ years advanced experience using excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced charting, VBA and Macros, and formatting data tables

4+ years as an operations analyst, BA or similar role supporting finance or a professional services organization

Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses

7+ years of product management or business planning experience.

Experience with vehicle electrification and/or energy solutions, especially in product management and new concepts/business model development.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.

Ability to interface with / present to a diverse set of stakeholders, including executive management.

7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.

Experience gathering and writing business and functional requirements

Time management and ability to drive multiple simultaneous projects

Articulates business and functional requirements into deliverables.

Clearly articulate and document business requirements

Gather and document end to end knowledge of the supported systems and processes

Identify and manage production support tickets for incident and problem remediation, triage and resolution

One year of experience in air service development, airline employment, aviation consulting, or transportation / logistics planning.

Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Identify air carriers for service to San Diego, identify route opportunities for specific incumbent and candidate airlines.

Create compelling datasets and presentations to build business cases for airlines to add new routes to San Diego.

Identify, create, and develop marketing strategies for SAN’s new airlines and markets to increase consumer awareness.

Assist with air service development efforts for SAN with airlines, tour operators and charter companies.

Builds flight plans considering factors including altitude, terrain, weather, range, aircraft weight, airfield facilities, and navigation system capabilities and limitations

Assures aircraft and ground station flight readiness IAW DCMA INST 8210.1C requirements

Experience with TigerShark UAS or similar platform

Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in current area of operation

Prior Lead pilot or operator experience

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

3+ years experience in commercial or financial functions within the aviation industry

Experience working with high value, complex airline, lessor and aircraft contracts

7+ years’ experience in commercial and financial functions with time spent with OEMs, lessors or airlines.

Excellent analytical and writing skills

Experience supporting negotiations for small to mid size contracts

Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering or aviation related studies

10+ years of experience in engineering or program management in the automotive or equivalent industry

BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

Experience in product development at all stages; product ideation, design, release, prototyping, validation, launch and production

Proficient in tools required to manage complex projects (i.e. Gantt charts)

15+ years of experience in engineering or program management in the automotive or equivalent industry

Experience in managing multiple education or public agency projects concurrently

Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management

Manages Electric Vehicle Charging and Electric Transportation related Programs and Projects.

Manages work plans, tracks progress and results and reports utility agency incentives.

Manages, oversees and coordinates all phases of bid/award through project close-out and completion.
