Position Summary
Works directly with Director, Creative Services as part of ImpactX team; Rapport’s Creative Services branch that delivers on technical and production services, event operations and logistics. The Project Producer will liaise with internal teams and vendors, to ideate, create, manage and execute live, experiential events. The Project Producer will handle multiple mid-level programs soup to nuts; pitch, planning, execution to wrap up/reconciliation. Primary responsibilities include client management, execution planning, onsite event management, overall project management, budget tracking, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the logistics, fabrication, installation/tear down in multiple environments
- Clear, concise and transparent communications with the account team, lead agencies and vendor partners to ensure success for each parties’ goals
- Research vendors, suppliers, etc. offering new technologies or approaches
- Ensure program aesthetics, activities, fabrication, feasibility, etc. take into consideration the client's guidelines/goals/budget
- Identifies opportunities for client savings; allocates time for competitive bids from preferred and new vendors all while managing current workload (production timelines, budgets and schedules)
- Participates in Rapport/Media Brands offered program, projects, courses to grow
- Showcases a strong understanding of the various processes and procedures in place across Account, Finance, Operations and IMPACT with ability to lead discussions and ensure junior level staff are following suit
- Ideates on new business pitches, supporting the sell through efforts and creating trust in partners
- Suggests new best practice recommendations for internal operations and shares key learnings
- Understands the multi-faced nature of large-scale events and has attention to detail
- Cultivates and maintains a positive working relationship with both internal and external partners
- Performs quality control checks throughout the different stages of each project to maintain the integrity of project and Rapport/ImpactX
- Monitor competitive trends in the event business; identify and target emerging new marketing and experiential trends
- Provides support and leadership for junior team members
- Able to seek advice and support from appropriate team members when issues or problems arise, all while staying calm and levelheaded
- Creates project timelines, production schedule and overall event documentation
Desired Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Creative Suite preferred
- Self- starter, able to take on mid- to large scale projects, multi-projects and be able to prioritize appropriately
- Must be friendly, professional and capable of building rapport with our vendors, our clients and our colleagues
- Comfortable working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in work field
- 3+ years’ event planning/experiential experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail

The salary range for this position is $62,500 to $70,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
