Job Purpose:


NBCUniversal Entertainment First Run Syndication is seeking a Producer to work with all day-to-day operations as outlined below for “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” This is a Run of Show position.


Essential Responsibilities


  • Report directly to the leadership team
  • Manage all creative and production aspects of shows/segments (In some cases this means providing input only)
  • Communicate effectively with all show departments and external partners (publicists, reps, brands, guests)
  • Generate, develop and execute unique, entertaining and compelling content weekly
  • Take ownership of segments from booking through post-production
  • Supervise a creative team
  • Prepare show guests: conduct pre-interviews, brief guests on show days


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY
  • Strong knowledge/interest in pop culture and relevant social causes
  • Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Pilotware and all prominent social media platforms
  • Must have work authorization to work in the United States

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of production related experience

Additional Requirements


  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.


This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. In accordance with the production schedule, it is expected that this position will work about 46 weeks with an unpaid hiatus. The posted salary range is reflective of working for a full 52 weeks and will therefore be adjusted based on the actual schedule & weeks worked. In the event that the production schedule changes, you will be updated accordingly.
