Position Title: Creative Copywriter

Reporting to: Vice President Marketing

Summary:

Alexander Wang is searching for a highly collaborative, adaptive, and creative individual to work alongside the marketing, product and social team compiling a variety of copywriting. The copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, PR, internal communications, web, mobile, video, product and social media).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Concept and execute social-first copy and direct customer CTA.

· Strategize and implement copy content for platform specific social media, including but not limited to Weibo, WeChat, IG, TT.

· Seek legal advice and approval on creative writing and description limitations and legalities.

· Work cross-functionally with merchandising, retail team, wholesale team, PR team, design team, e-commerce team to satisfy departmental desires and goals through copywriting needs.

· Use social insight tools to aid with copywriting tools and effectiveness to fuel social strategy.

· Craft copy according to brand tone of voice for all social channels, marketing emails, website landing pages, out-of-home marketing materials, in store events, brand competitions, press mailings, and special event collateral.

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

· 3-5 years of experience in

· Outstanding portfolio showcasing cross-platform experience which may include campaign, TV/video/radio, digital, social, print, or eCommerce

· Strong conceptual thinking

· Expert written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Solid understanding of creative development

· Understanding of and ability to work within CMS and/or social platforms

· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

· Must have digital and social experience; campaign ideation and broadcast are a plus

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $80,000 to $85,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required. * this position is eligible for a discretionary bonus*
