We are looking for a New York City based, agile, experienced, dynamic Senior Studio Copywriter to join the creative team while supporting our growing Studio. This video-focused role requires strong creative and conceptual thinking as well as precise, sophisticated execution of everything from ideation to scripting to post-production. Collaboration is the name of the game, and this individual will work closely with many cross-departmental stakeholders in Marketing, SEO, and Content. To us, a successful Sr. Studio Copywriter is someone who can both deliver great work while helping to shape the copy team within the Studio. This role develops and oversees all scripting and copy-related needs as we ramp up our organic YouTube presence, and create brand content for the Hims & Hers app and blog. This role is hybrid position based in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and script videos, attend shoots (in-person) working closely with our art directors, and act as a resource to editors in post-production and delivery
• Be ruthless when it comes to editing, grammar, and proofreading techniques
• Follow and champion brand and content guidelines
• Concept, script, and see through completion of video projects for placement on Hims & Hers’ YouTube channel, app, and blog.
• Work closely with the CD to problem solve building a studio and creative pipeline that finds output efficiency while maintaining quality creative
• Work closely and flexibly with design, brand, production, digital, and product development teams to deliver on strategic initiatives
• Use your expertise as an insight-driven storyteller to elevate every asset you touch

Experience & Skills

• Ability to drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
• Experience using insights and strategic thinking to influence stakeholders
• Ability to deliver on strategic initiatives while championing brand voice, tone, and direction
• Experience collaborating with designers, editors, art directors, animators, producers, and other creative partners
• Ability to communicate the benefits of marketing strategies to business audiences of all levels
• In-depth understanding of the healthcare, wellness, or CPG industry a plus
• Extensive knowledge of the video production process from a copywriting perspective (pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery)
• A strong ability to think narratively, concepting and building creative with a sharp eye and ear
• Eagerness to be hands-on and proactive
• Experience driving multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• 7+ years experience in marketing; 5+ of those years in copywriting specifically

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.

H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

$75,000 - $130,000 USD
