Advertising Team Associate

The Ad Account Associate contributes to behindthechair.com by managing daily communications with our clients and brand partners to help plan, organize and execute client marketing campaigns on our platforms. This position is part of our larger Advertising team and reports directly to the Director of Client Operations.

We are looking for a stellar multitasker with an exceptional eye for detail who wants to excel in the beauty industry with expertise in social media, digital advertising campaigns and influencer marketing! The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current advertising clients in order to advocate for their digital and social campaign success.

What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities)

• Report weekly to your manager & director about the health of client accounts and live campaigns.
• Collaborate with the advertising team, influencer team, editorial team and design team to develop, implement, and track campaigns. This includes campaign performance evaluation and strategy development to ensure we’re meeting client’s overall goals.
• Communicate with internal teams to organize client assets and creative as needed for advertising campaigns.
• Assist advertising team in scheduling and managing meetings and appointments.
• Manage daily communications with clients on marketing & social assets needed, scheduling campaigns and campaign success.
• Contribute to campaign planning process for clients including strategic plan development.
• Analyze campaign performance across digital & social.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive marketing.
• Manage digital and social campaign components while meeting deadlines.
• Create and maintain relationships with a portfolio of advertising clients to better understand and achieve their goals.

Who You Are (Job Requirements)

• Great interpersonal skills. You are comfortable with a client facing role, building ongoing relationships with clients and key contacts through email, video chat and in-person communication.
• You have strong organization and time management skills.
• You love to find ways to work smarter, not harder.
• You are familiar with social media analytics, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
• You are comfortable with project management and/or CRM tools.
• You are a confident written/email communicator.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant advertising, marketing and/or client relations experience.
• You are a strong strategic thinker.
• You are proficient in MS Office and Google suite applications.
• You have a desire to become knowledgeable around multiple clients and their campaigns on a monthly and yearly basis.
• You have an interest and desire to become familiar with industry influencers and brands to better understand campaigns and meet client objectives.
• Not required, but would love to know if you have an understanding of any of the following third party tools (Google Data Studio, Later, Traackr or any other scheduling tool)
• You have a passion for the hair and beauty industry.
• You are task oriented and comfortable working independently, but also open to team collaboration.
• You have the ability and a willingness to travel (est. 1-4 times a year, TBD).
• You pride yourself on having a strong attention to detail.
