Adult Neurosurgeon With Academic Team In Indianapolis, In

Clinical Practice:

Opening for a general neurosurgeon with a mix of cranial, spinal, and other procedures; the successful candidate will build a clinical practice collaboratively with the other IUHP neurosurgeons in the department in Indianapolis.
It is expected that the person in this position will work with multi-disciplinary colleagues to help further develop longitudinal programs of care to optimize continuity of care and outcomes.
Quality improvement activities such as the development of evidence-based clinical care pathways and best practices for inpatients and outpatients are encouraged.
Shared call with the neurosurgery group with back-up system is in place.

Academic:
Opportunity to participate in the teaching of residents and students - research time is negotiable for this position; support for publications and presentations are provided by the department.
Interest in Artificial Intelligence, neurotrauma, peripheral nerve surgery, or neuroscience innovation welcomed but not required.

Qualifications:
Exceptional surgical, diagnostic skills, and communication abilities
Strong commitment to excellence in patient care
Completion of neurosurgery residency in an ACGME-accredited residency program
BE/BC by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
