To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying. Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as listed below. GS-12 You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties: Reviewing and providing detailed comments on management plans and proposals; Providing advice and recommendations on matters to include program office policies, administrative functions, and resolving management problems; Maintaining information tracking databases and systems in order to generate and distribute reports; and Coordinating with Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal and other functional elements to obtain administrative services and resources. GS-13 You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties: Leading or directing the activities of resources programs in most of the following areas: Human Resources, Information Technology, Security, Legal and other functional elements to obtain administrative services; Developing, analyzing, and evaluating strategic and operational management plans and proposals; Performing complex studies and projects involving program development and program evaluation for providing or improving administrative services; and Providing advice and guidance on pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents applicable to administration and management. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
