We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Compliance and Monitoring Entry Level Consultant.


YOUR TEAM.


This position will support CohnReznick's Government and Public Sector Advisory practice. This group is highly experienced and specially trained in the operations, processes, regulations, and reporting requirements of public entities. YOUR ROLE.


Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To


  • Provide administrative and clerical support of project-related activities
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, programmatic, and jurisdictional policy and procedure requirements
  • Review, reconcile, and process claimed expenses by utilizing documentation submitted
  • Communicate and interact with jurisdictional officials daily
  • Communicate progress of projects, problems, and resolutions
  • Make recommendations of costs eligibility


Your Experience.


The successful candidate will have:


  • Understanding of Federal and State grants management requirements
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours
  • Employment is contingent on the applicant’s ability to clear background checks and drug screening as required by clients.
  • A team player with a positive attitude & strong client focus
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations and policy to specific circumstances
  • Must be organized and be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Superior client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • 0-3 years working with federally funded grants
  • Bachelor’s Degree; focus in Emergency Management, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related field is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking abilities
