Job Description

Hexcel is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.


The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:


  • Using various computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and others to accomplish the correspondence, presentation and scheduling needs for key plant personnel.
  • Coordinating with vendors, ordering supplies, managing and reconciling purchase card
  • Performing administrative duties with minimal direction.
  • Coordinating business meetings, luncheons, dinners and site events. Coordinating and arranging off-plant travel and meetings.
  • Referring telephone calls and visitors to proper people or handling matters that do not require individual management attention. Answering inquiries and solving problems referred by personnel accurately and efficiently. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive issues/topics.
  • Managing the calendar of several managers.
  • Coordinating and arranging travel for various personnel. Making transportation/travel arrangements for visitors. Completing expense reports for various personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Ability to be flexible while meeting multiple priorities, working with multiple leaders, peers.
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative assistant experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, associate's degree preferred.
  • Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform all responsibilities with a high degree of discretion and initiative.
