Description


The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Office Manager/Human Resource staff in daily duties. This position will work June through November. This includes but is not limited to help with hiring seasonal staff, answering phone calls, utilizing scheduling software, help coordinate orientation, assisting with training and other duties assigned


Assist with Onboarding for CGO


  • Review applications
  • Maintain records for those interviewed and hired
  • Communicate with employees to discuss any issues/concerns with staffing issues
  • Learn and utilize Paylocity scheduling software
  • Assist with training employees how to utilize Paylocity
  • Assist with employee orientation


Communication Processes


  • First point of contact for the phones
  • Communicate in a professional manner to all CGO employees, guests/visitors, and vendors. First point of contact
  • Assist with meetings with managers to address any issues with staff


Other Duties As Assigned


  • Assist in other areas of CGO when needed
  • Helping maintain first aid kits
  • Donations
  • Assist in maintaining appearance of CGO/Cleaning office areas
  • Prioritize responsibilities to best meet the interests/needs of CGO
  • Rebates
  • Assist with maintaining inventory
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Laundry for GetUPS
  • Demonstrate flexibility in schedule

Requirements


Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills


Proficient computer skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook


Proven ability to use independent judgment, decision-making skills, human relation skills,


Must be able to use discretion and a commitment to confidentiality


Must be able to meet multiple individual and team deadlines in a fast paced, and changing dynamic work environment


Had one to two years experience in Administrative work.


Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required


Must be 18 years of age or older


This job requires 40 hours work weeks during June - December. There may be overtime if needed
