Position Summary


The Warner College of Natural Resources ( WCNR ) Business office is seeking an administrative assistant to assist with day to day office functions. This is an on campus non-student hourly position limited to 9 months with the potential of extension. Applicant must be available during standard CSU operating hours of Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm and commit to 30-40 hours/week. Hours will not be available outside of this time frame. Telework is unavailable.


The WCNR Business Office is seeking a motivated individual for administrative support. A successful candidate for this position will have outstanding organization skills, ability to multitask, provide excellent customer service, and be a self-motivated hard worker. Candidates should be proficient in basic verbal and written communication.


Duration: temporary, max 9 months with the potential to continue on


Position Minimum Qualifications


  • Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on a team


Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
