Job Description

Our client is a leading law firm with offices around the world. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team in Washington, D.C. The position is hybrid and requires 2-3 days in the office per week. They offer excellent benefits, including benefits from Day 1, 401(k), and unlimited PTO!

Job Details

  • Report, research, and correct variances
  • Excellent benefits package includes health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) and unlimited PTO!
  • Prepare financial statements and coordinate audits
  • Review and post journal entries to General Ledger
  • Oversee outgoing payment process
  • Salary: $75-90k annually, based on experience
  • Manage full Accounts Payable cycle
  • Manage compliance issues related to Accounts Payable processes

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have strong working knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger, financial statements, and compliance issues related to Accounts Payable processes
  • Deep knowledge of Excel and data analytics
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or similar concentration
  • 3-6 years Accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP
