Accounts Payable Rep I - Remote ($14.86 - $25.00 / Hour)

Job Responsibilities

• Research and resolve invoicing issues, deductions, adjustments, and cash discounts
• Open, sort, and date stamp incoming mail; accurately match invoices with receivers
• Review trade and expense invoices for accuracy of vendor number, invoice number, purchase order number, general ledger number, invoice amount, and authorized signature
• Input vendor invoices, debit, and credit memos manually and in upload daily
• Prepare checks for mailing and overnight delivery

Job Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High school graduate or equivalent with knowledge of accounting and accounts payable functions
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Minimum one year of experience in accounts payable processing
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping concepts and procedures

Physical Environment/Demands

• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
• Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required
• Some travel may be required
