Accounting Clerk Needed In The Pasadena Area - 1St Shift - $21.00

Onin Staffing is seeking an Accounting Clerk. Our client is in the food manufacturing industry, and they're located in the Pasadena area. An Accounting Clerk can expect to handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments, assist with inventory, database, and record maintenance, prepare financial reports, issue checks and making deposits, and generally ensure that the office operations are running smoothly. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (Must be able to work OT as needed)

Pay rate: $21/hr (Pay will increase once you get hired on with the company)

**PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS**

• MUST be able to pass background check and drug screen
• Experience with financial planning software
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance or accounting
• MUST be local

Work Experience

• Responding appropriately to a vendor, client, and internal requests.
• Performing basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
• Ensuring Accounting Department runs smoothly and efficiently
• Abiding by all company procedures and accounting principles.
• Preparing checks, deposits, budgets, and financial reports.
• Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current.
• Recording information, processing, and filing forms.
• Updating ledgers, researching, and resolving discrepancies.
