Shipping Clerk- 1St Shift

Major Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain filing systems.
• Create customer order documentation.
• Requires shift work and overtime.
• Accurate input of all transaction’s related to inventory into computer system.
• Imports and Exports computer transactions.
• Completing standard clerical duties including typing, data entry, packaging and shipping. Processing of freight bills, packing slips, receiving reports, bill of lading, and other related receiving and shipping forms.
• Punctual presence (attendance and timeliness) on assigned work days.

Minor Responsibilities:

Requires effective communication with team members and internal departments and related outside resources.

Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform duties with minimal supervision.

Maintain 5’s standards: maintaining good housing keeping/cleaning throughout the department.

May require some travel to Statesville.

Key Competencies:

Must have proficient understanding and working knowledge of Computers.

Must have a proficient level of arithmetic skills to be able to complete, interpret and analyze charts and graphs.

Effective verbal, listening and communication skills.
