Job Summary
- Process and keep a record of accounts receivables for grants, overpayments, etc.
- Enter journal entries.
- Communication with vendors and/or employees regarding any discrepancies.
- Process tuition reimbursement and Continuing Medical Education (CME) paperwork and maintain balances.
- Process incoming mail on a daily basis.
- Secure the necessary approvals for invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Scan documents.
- Knowledge of general ledger coding.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Good typing skills.
- Ability to communicate in both verbal and written form.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
- Good organizational skills.
- Reports to the Accounting Manager.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
