Accountant job is fully remote. Candidates can be in an US or US territory location with the exception of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Montana or New York. No vis sponsorship provided.

Position Summary

The Accountant performs general accounting duties including but not limited to preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling financial transactions, statements, records, and reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare and coordinate audit schedules for external auditors on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare monthly expense review and analysis.
• Key member of month end close process including journal entries.
• Work on ad-hoc reporting and special assignments as they arise.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience. Public accounting experience preferred. Experience with an ERP accounting system a plus, Oracle preferred. Manufacturing industry experience a plus

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age

Travel Requirements: Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• This is largely a sedentary role. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
