This position will serve an important role within the company to handle our accounting responsibilities in a manner that's compliant with our internal controls.

• Participates in and contribute to the financial audit process including preparation of various audit requests and inquiries.
• Partners with cross functional teams such as FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal, to address operational challenges
• Identifies risks, implement controls, and maintain proper process documentation in accordance with SOX
• Assists in streamlining the month close cloud processes, including contributing to the development of new or current accounting processes, programs, and procedures
• Researches technical accounting issues
• Prepares disclosures schedules for the quarterly and annual financial filings.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
• Participates in monthly, quarterly and annual close related activities including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintains and update desktop procedures and manuals
• Participates in departmental projects and initiatives

What you will bring to the table…

• Proficient in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks and work with tight deadlines
• Advanced MS Excel skills including experience including V-lookups and pivot tables
• 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP
• 1+ years of Cloud-based accounting software experience (Netsuite, Intacct, Oracle Fusion, etc.)
• Detail oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain positive, effective relationships
• BA or BS in accounting or related discipline required
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

You will stand out if you also have…

• Public accounting experience preferred
• Certified public accountant (CPA) completed or in process strongly preferred

• Travel requirements: No travel required
• Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.

• Location requirements: This role is fully remote within the US
• Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet

The salary range for this role is up to $110,000. The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include [annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.]
