Requirements
Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations on accrual and cash basis.
• Provide monthly financial reports to the management team.
• Manage accounts payable, billings & collections.
• Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation as needed.
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly.
• Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals and handle daily cash management.

Requirements:

• Understands tax structure and revenue recognition of E-commerce entity.
• Must understand and ideally have experience in inventory management practices as well as effective buying strategies.
• Understands pricing model and content delivery in the Digital Platform.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable with occasionally supporting tasks beyond formal job responsibilities.
• Must reside in Houston, TX.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Understands Digital marketing concepts for tracking and budgeting.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, ever changing fashion environment.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Seeking controller with an operations and strategic mindset.
• Accounting experience in a GAAP environment is a must.
• Understands the seasonality and sales trends in an E-commerce business environment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations.
• 2+ years of business finance and progressive accounting experience, including as a controller preferred.

Salary: $95-$125k based on experience & qualifications
