About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be driving retention and up-selling our existing customers. You will aim to achieve customer satisfaction across the Lexis Nexis Scotland customer base. Ensuring effective client management, deployment of internal resources, and expanding products and services within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
  • Working with clients and internal partners through issue resolution to drive customer satisfaction and managing applicable risk accordingly
  • Developing and tracking pipeline within assigned accounts utilizing CRM and reporting weekly forecast and opportunity progression
  • Creating targeted, solution-oriented proposals with appropriate positioning and pricing for software and services
  • Representing product portfolio through speaking engagements, industry events and trade shows including demonstrations of our product
  • Meeting Point Of Sales goals within assigned accounts and Revenue goals within region
  • Growing pipeline through active account management and executing a strategic account plan with the client base
  • Managing complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through to close
  • Promoting a consultative sales motion at all levels of the organization
  • Owning and managing the overall health and status relationship with the customer
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge and application of negotiation process, proposal writing and closing
  • Display proven sales experience in growing existing accounts and selling new business
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Have a solid understanding of solution selling methodologies that can be demonstrated
  • Have solid interpersonal and presentation skills to partner and collaborate across teams
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in a team selling environment
  • Have a technical aptitude with computer skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, CRM applications
