Account Manager - Schools

Job Summary

We provide opportunities to manage and teach programs. We are looking for individuals who are interested in a part-time or full-time (30 hours) Account Manager for schools managing enrichment programs at schools in a particular region. This includes ensuring high quality account management and creating a positive customer experience. This is an hourly position that can be performed remotely with onsite hours during program time and is referred to as a School Ambassador. Join a growing team with Baroody Camps!

Baroody Camps, Inc. provides a variety of classes and summer camps to school children in various counties throughout the Northern Virginia area.

• Detailed-oriented individuals who are passionate about expanding access to enrichment programs within our community.

Duties

• Account Management. You will be responsible for the management of 8-10 school accounts to start and work 20-30 hours per week. (We are interested in either PT or FT applicants) For these schools, you will serve as the primary point of contact and perform registration support, customer service, vendor relations, administrative support, and more to ensure their enrichment programs run safely and smoothly. There will be future opportunities to grow the number of accounts and hours available to work.
• Customer Service. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders- schools, parents, children, and providers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent customer-service skills; in person, phone and via email
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in business administration, education, or a related field; or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Speed and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, data entry and database management
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• A flexible schedule and believe that enrichment programs are an integral part of education

It Would Be Great If You Have

• Experience with navigating Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and organizing enrichment programs
• Experience managing large groups of elementary school age children in a camp, coaching, or classroom setting

Additional Information

We are flexible with PT or FT - depending on the candidate.

There will be opportunities to manage additional schools and increase hours if desired.

The workload varies somewhat depending on the season. During October, November, December, January the load is lighter and the hours may be flexible. During busy seasons (May, June, August, September) more work may be required. Throughout the school year, this position is on call between the hours of 2-5pm or may be onsite for 2 hours during the 2-5pm hour window. If you are desiring FT hours during the summer- you can work on-site with us in a different role!
