Our partner is seeking an Account Manager to support federal contracts with GSA and Civilian Agencies under the AbilityOne Program located in Vienna, VA. The Account Manager will work with nonprofit agencies across the United States to increase employment and training opportunities for persons with disabilities through federal government purchasing of commodities and services.

- Act as a client advocate and work with internal departments to ensure clients' needs are understood and satisfied, including nonprofit organizations, government personnel, and Commission Customers
- Serve as the main point of contact for all assigned contract actions with nonprofit organizations, government personnel, and Commission Customers
- Maintain knowledge of the AbilityOne Program to include assistance in federal contracting, price development, and coordination of business operations and processes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/services
- Travel requirements of 1-2 customer visits per month, which equates to about 25% of working time.
- Strengthen the AbilityOne program, either through preservation of existing contracts or developing product or service expansions resulting in sustained increases in jobs and sales
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
- Promote the AbilityOne Program and assist NPAs in maintaining program and statutory compliance
- Provide account management for AbilityOne program-related federal contracts with GSA and Civilian Agencies
- Oversee all assigned customer account activities such as making sales, collecting, and analyzing data
- Associates Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution OR applicable skills training
- 5 years of relevant work experience with federal contracting, federal billing, federal procurement process, federal supply schedule, customer support, account management or similar
- Working knowledge of the Service Contract Act and Fair Labor Standards Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and AbilityOne procedures
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in lieu of applicable skill training
- Experience with government agencies within the Federal marketplace
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge about the AbilityOne Program
- Working knowledge of the Federal Procurement process
- Hybrid work model or fully remote work model, depending on job requirements and proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the DC-area

- Salary range of $66,022 - $98,496, depending on experience and geographic location in the United States
