Job Description

United Marble seeks an upbeat, motivated, driven Account Executive to actively engage customer prospects and build lasting relationships. The ideal candidate is design-savvy with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals while consistently providing world-class customer service to prospective clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Follow up, follow through, and follow back with all clients as a matter of principle
  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive and productive business and customer relationships as a face of our established brand
  • Demonstrate a complete familiarity with the United product and service offering in order to craft proposals and make recommendations to clients in real time
  • Engage potential clients through curated and thoughtful prospecting, anticipating the needs of our target customer, and in collaboration with our marketing outreach and CRM platform
  • Plan and execute in-person appointments at our showroom with prospective clients with a focus on appointment preparedness (knowledge of client needs and goals, project specifics, anticipated products of interest)
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to ensure success


Skills

  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite, CRM Software, and digital productivity tools
  • Demonstrated work experience as an Account Executive
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Design-forward with a strong awareness of natural stone and current design trends
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Experience working with Architects and Interior Designers on projects of all sizes and budgets
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to positively interact with many different types of clients in-person, on the phone, and by email/social media.
  • An innate ability to nurture multiple projects from initial conversation to specification to close
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred but by no means required
