About the Opportunity
They are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join the sales team. You have experience selling SaaS solutions to the life sciences industry, ideally in the lab informatics space. You will be responsible for achieving revenue targets in your territory by sourcing new business and expanding existing accounts. You will help develop and execute strategic sales plans that will be successful in addressing the needs of key stakeholders in complex environments.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
2. Manage the defined sales process from lead generation to close.
3. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns.
4. Provide regular updates on sales activities and progress against targets by diligent use of our CRM.
5. Attend industry conferences and events to build relationships and generate leads.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
Must Haves:
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
● 3+ years of experience selling software solutions to the life sciences industry.
● Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Nice to Haves:
● Experience selling solutions that may include a significant Professional Services component
● Experience selling laboratory management software, including LIMS, ELN, LES
● Good working knowledge laboratory automation platforms
● Good working knowledge of the data management challenges faced by modern molecular laboratories
