About You
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our New Client Growth team. You will play a substantial role in closing enterprise clients to contribute to overall agency growth. About You
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our New Client Growth team. You will play a substantial role in closing enterprise clients to contribute to overall agency growth. Your mission will be to demonstrate the value 3Q/DEPT has to offer with our digital marketing programs, establish trusted relationships with clients, and drive the success of our brand through inbound/outbound sales opportunity efforts.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Project managing pitch preparation (scheduling, next steps, assignments, follow up)
- Traveling regularly within the US for prospect pitches
- Developing & presenting high-quality, customized slide decks to support sales conversations in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Owning and closing $4-5MM sales quota annually
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers at new business accounts
- You’re able to make contact with key decision-makers like CEO’s, CMOs, brand directors, or marketing managers and networking is in your DNA.
- Persuading prospects to work with 3Q/DEPT through compelling, strategic, storytelling presentations
- Developing and improving New Client Growth processes
- Negotiating business terms that allow 3Q/DEPT to maintain strong client retention and margins
- Partner with internal client services and channel teams to tell a cohesive story
- Managing and motivating a team of Strategists and support staff (as applicable)
- Lead new business qualification and pitch processes.
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Winmo, Owler, and DocuSign a plus
- Proven sales experience with long sales cycles
- A deep understanding of growth marketing channels and growth drivers (SEM, SEO, paid social, programmatic, data and analytics, audience research, creative, UX and mobile)
- Comfort with G Suite products, especially Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
- A great, positive “can-do” attitude where you accept no limits
- An eye for design and beautiful aesthetics and polished correspondence
- Strong influencer with exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Superior writing and communication skills
- 5-7 years of digital marketing agency sales experience
- Experience selling and closing integrated media/multi-channel/service scopes in the digital marketing industry
- Have experience working on large, enterprise pitches
- Are ambitious, commercial, results-oriented and know how to plan and organize
- A strong network to leverage for new business opportunities
- In channel media or media strategy experience
- Are proactive and like to take the lead
