A.T. Kearney, Inc. has multiple openings for Principal – Practice Aligned(s) in Chicago, IL ( Extensive travel and/or possible relocation in unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. ) to specialize in providing management-consulting services to private and public organizations.  
 Role-specific requirements: 

• Confer with management and consulting team to identify problems and improvements in order to recommend implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
• Principal:
• Supervise and lead the consulting team in their efforts to: gather and analyze data on problems or procedures, develop solutions and alternative methods of proceeding, confer with personnel to ensure successful functioning of newly implanted systems or procedures, interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed and methods, equipment and personnel used, document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes, and plan study of work problems and procedures.
• Directly advise clients on organizational strategy to solve problems and transform operations.
• Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations and develop solutions or alternative methods to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Supervise activities of a team of Managers, Associates and Business Analysts.
• Telecommuting is permitted
• Lead the design of systems and procedures to address performance problems within the client’s organization and improve the organizations’ structure, efficiency, or profits.
• Lead work simplification and measurement studies including benchmarking, best practices, and competitor assessment studies.

Qualifications

• Executing on detailed project plans to assure successful delivery.
• Work Experience Requirement: 4 years of relevant experience in Economics, Business, Engineering, Management, Information Technology, or related field.
• Collaborating in an international setting to better serve the global needs of clients
• Conducting extensive primary and secondary research on corporate strategy topics
• Driving strategic decisions for clients (e.g. market entry analysis and strategy, cost structure assessment, and improvement strategy)
• Experience to include:
• Specific Skills or Other Requirements:
• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s in Economics, Engineering, Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects/teams
• Financial modeling and data analytics to forecast performance
• Conducting commercial due diligence, top-line transformation, or merger integration assessments
