**Eh&S Manager ($140K-160K)**

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees while ensuring compliance with safety laws and regulations. As the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for conducting thorough workplace inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, and providing safety training programs to promote a healthy work environment. Additionally, you will investigate accidents to prevent future incidents and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement employee training programs for health and safety topics, as well as establish and maintain safety and training protocols for each position in the company.
• Ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of projects.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
• Lead the safety team, overseeing projects, tasks, and operations, and provide leadership with reports on team activities and successes.
• Manage participation in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing necessary documents and identifying safety measures.
• Conduct inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Stay updated on government laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels and ensure compliance.
• Monitor the removal of physical, biological, and chemical hazards, and conduct training sessions to educate employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Update and communicate safety policies to employees, fostering a hazard-free work environment.
• Verify compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records according to established guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of OSHA and other federal, state, and local safety-related laws and regulations, including experience in interacting with these governing bodies.
• Experience in designing and conducting training sessions for employees at various levels within the organization, adapting communication to suit different audiences.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in occupational health, safety, or a related scientific field such as biology, chemistry, or engineering.
• Master's degree preferred, preferably in health physics, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and effectively communicating safety-related policies to employees at all levels.
• Five to seven years of experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role, with at least two to three years in a supervisory or management position.
• Professional Certification by a recognized Environmental Health and Safety body is desirable.
• Membership in a recognized Environmental Health and Safety organization is preferred.
