A.T. Kearney, Inc. has multiple openings for Manager(s) in Chicago, IL (with extensive travel and/or possible relocation in unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.) to specialize in providing management-consulting services to private and public organizations.
Role-specific requirements: 

• Telecommuting is permitted.
• Lead work simplification and measurement studies including, benchmarking, best practices, and competitor assessment studies.
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations and develop solutions or alternative methods to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Confer with management and consulting team to identify problems and improvements in order to recommend implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Supervise activities of a team of Associates and Business Analysts.
• Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Manager:
• Lead the design of systems and procedures to address performance problems within the clients organization and improve the organizations structure, efficiency, or profits.
• Supervise the consulting team in their efforts to: gather and analyze data on problems or procedures, develop solutions and alternative methods of proceeding, confer with personnel to ensure successful functioning of newly implanted systems or procedures, interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed and methods, equipment and personnel used, document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes, and plan study of work problems and procedures.
• Directly advise clients on organizational strategy to solve problems and transform operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional projects/teams
• Work Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience in the field of Economics, Business, Engineering, Management, Information Technology or related field.
• Specific Skills or Other Requirements:
• Collaborates in an international setting to better understand or serve global needs of clients
• Executes detailed project plans to assure successful delivery.
• Drives strategic decisions for clients (E.G. Cost structure assessment, operational improvement strategy, organizational restructuring)
• Conducts extensive primary and secondary research
• Experience to include:
• Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Economics, Engineering, Management, Business, Information Technology or related quantitative field.
• Develops business case and cost-benefit analysis for new processes, organization or systems roll-out
