Job Title: Medical Content Editor

12 months contract

Pay rate – 30/hr on w2

Qualifications: ·

Bachelor’s degree · At least 5 years of editorial experience and 3 years of copyediting experience in medical publishing ·

Excellent communication, management, organizational, and editorial skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines ·

Knowledge of and experience in communication with clinicians/health care

Duties and Responsibilities: ·

Copyedit content to ensure compliance with editorial policies and style guidelines · Review content for organization and clarity and provide feedback as necessary to Medical Editors and Editor-in-Chief · Ensure quality content and meet content delivery deadlines as set by editorial team · Maintain content of style guide, templates, and editorial policies · Propose enhancements of existing development processes to continuously improve content quality and timeliness and to meet customer needs · Attend and participate in monthly Digital Content Editorial team meetings to discuss editing challenges, best practices, workflow, and style changes · Work with Image and Permission coordinators to review, correct, and approve images for Clinical Overviews · Other duties or tasks as assigned
