Experience with primary cell preparation, tissue culture, and cell separation

Cell preparation, cell separation, and cell staining using conjugated antibodies to identify the isolated cell purity and yield,

Use good oral and written communication skills to relay scientific data

Maintain awareness of cutting-edge technical developments and scientific knowledge and apply these where possible to improve process efficiency

Hands-on experience in purification techniques including affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion, hydrophobic interaction chromatography using Akta Avant/Pure or BioRad NGC

Must be team-oriented, professional, hard-working, and interested in learning new skills.

Experience with other protein characterization technologies (DLS, SEC-MALS, LC/MS, IEX/HIC-HPLC) would be a strong plus

Experience in protein formulation, automated liquid handling systems (Hamilton, Bravo) would be a plus

Working knowledge of database management, personal computers, and presentation software.

No experience is required. One to two (1 - 2) years of laboratory experience is preferred. Understanding of general research objectives.

Experience with routine laboratory procedures, experimental protocols, and overall lab organization.

Must possess computer skills to include, but not limited to, Excel and Word.

A Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, microbiology, or related field in a life or data science discipline

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

2+ years of experience in a research laboratory

Work with a team to develop, design, and carry out experiments that are essential to the group's collective success.

Interpret primary literature, experimental results and design follow-up experiments.

Document, summarize and present findings in individual and group meetings.

Consult with team leader and other scientists on priorities, methods, and timelines.

Experience with rodent colony management and in vivo work is preferred but not required.

1-3 year experience of relevant research/laboratory experience.

General cell culture and cell based assay experience (eg. maintaining and treating cell lines, primary cells, stem cells).

Experience with molecular/biochemical laboratory techniques (eg. Western blotting, qPCR, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, tissue sectioning) is preferred.

Experience with standard statistical analyses and data plotting (eg. Excel, GraphPad Prism).

Strong communication and organizational skills, including ability to handle a variety of tasks.

1 or more years of experience with protein purification or equivalent laboratory experience

Follow methodologies in carrying routine tasks

May supervise Clinical Research Associates on data entry, data query and resolution.
